A history of The Rankin Mill, built in the 1800's at Rocky Ford on
Salt Creek, will be presented during the 6:30 p.m. Monday meeting of
the Logan County Genealogical & Historical Society, 114 N. Chicago
St.
A table-sized replica of the Mill, recently donated to the Society
by the Lawrence Wilham family of rural Mt. Pulaski, will be on
display.
In addition, LCGHS researchers will provide a history of the old
stone house at Rocky Ford.
The meeting is open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
A previously scheduled trip to visit the Tazewell County Society in Pekin has
been postponed.
