Several decades ago, the Lincoln Public Library District acquired
photographs and photographic negatives that were taken by Larry
Shroyer, a photographer for the Lincoln Courier. Most of the photos
were taken during the 1950’s and 60’s.
Many of the negatives from this collection have been scanned and are
available for public viewing. The photographs are in the process of
being scanned and will soon be available as well. All are welcome to
visit the Lincoln Public Library to view the scans.

Plans are also being made to make several of them available for viewing
each week on the library’s website,
www.lincolnpublic
library.org.
Many of these photos were not labeled and we would appreciate help in
identifying the people and events in the photos.
