Fundraiser to be held for the family of Greg Jurgenson

The Atlanta Country Aire Restaurant and St. John's United Church of Christ are partnering for a fundraiser to benefit the family of the late Greg Jurgenson.

On Wednesday, September 8th from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. the Coutry Aire will donate 10 percent of all proceeds for the day to the family.

The church is also taking up a love offering for the family.  Those wishing to contribute may do so by making checks payable to the St. John UCC with "Jurgenson Love Offering" in the memo line.  Donations may be mailed to St. John United Church of Christ, 204 Seventh Street, Lincoln, IL  62656.

Greg passed away on Friday August 27 in his home surrounded by family.  He escaped from a months long battle with brain cancer.

He leaves behind his wife Carla, his children grand children and many other family members and friends.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will be given to the family to assist in medical bills for Greg.
