Safe driving classes offered to seniors in Minier area

[September 14, 2021]   A chance to reduce your insurance premium and become a safe driver all in one!

This course is sponsored by the Minier Police Department, First Farmers Bank, Branch of Bank of Pontiac, RSVP, and AARP.

This is a refresher course in safe driving techniques for people 50 years old and over.

Learn defensive driving, new traffic laws, how to adjust your driving to changes in vision, hearing, and reaction time.

There is no test to take and most insurance companies will provide a multi-year discount to graduates of this course. There is no fee as the class will be sponsored by the bank and the police department.

The class will be held on September 21 & 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 pm at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Minier.
