Visitation: 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2022, at the Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln

Service: 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home

Obituary

Brian K. Bailey, 50, of Lincoln, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at the Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln with Mr. Larry Crawford officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in the McLean Cemetery in rural McLean.

Brian was born on August 1, 1971, in Pontiac, the son of William Fred and Barbara Ann Hershe Bailey.

He is survived by his mother: Barbara Bailey; one brother: Scott (Amy) Bailey; nieces and nephews: Matthew (Yesenia) McPhail, Hunter (Jordan Lappin) Bailey, Ethan Bailey; and one great-niece: Esmeralda McCawley.

 

Funeral Director

Brian graduated from the Bloomington High School in 1992. He was employed at the Dixie Truckers Home in McLean for many years.

His hobbies included collecting baseball cards and comic books, and he loved watching wrestling and listening to music. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family, including extended family in Kentucky, and playing Nintendo with his nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Lincoln Memorial Hospital Cardiac Rehab Center.

Final arrangements are entrusted with Peasley Funeral Home of Lincoln.
