Thursday morning fire at Precision Products contained to second floor electrical box

On Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 12:21 a.m., the Lincoln Fire Department was dispatched for a fire at Precision Products, 316 Limit Street.

Upon arrival Lincoln Firefighters found fire in a large electrical box on the second story of the building.

The fire was contained to the box and was extinguished once the Ameren power company turned off power to the building.

There were no reported injuries from the fire and the damage is estimated to be $100,000.

The fire is currently being investigated by the Lincoln Fire Department.

Lincoln Fire was also assisted by Lincoln Police, LCPA, Lincoln Rural and Atlanta Fire.
