						City of Lincoln
2012 Ward map based on 2010 census

2022 map based on 2020 census

						According
to the 2020 census, the overall population in the city
of Lincoln has dropped by 1,349 people since the 2010
census. The reduction in population was not spread out
evenly among the city's four wards. To comply with state
statutes, the Lincoln aldermen approved a redistricting
of Lincoln's four wards to bring the overall population
of each within 10 percent of one another.

Written descriptions of the new boundaries are in
today's edition of Lincoln Daily News. Changes are
effective immediately and have no impact on aldermanic
representation in each of the four wards.
