Ameren Illinois Hosting Energy Wise Event for Seniors

[August 18, 2022]   Seniors can join Ameren Illinois for a free informational session that will help them become more energy wise and equip them with the tools they need to make their home more comfortable.

Ameren Illinois is hosting an Energy Wise Senior Boot Camp, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Aug. 30 at the Oasis Senior Center. Lunch will be provided, however, seats are limited and a reservation is required by calling 618-301-5363.

Customer Service Representatives will be at available to answer questions regarding energy bills. Information will be available regarding eligible-customer bill payment assistance programs including Warm Neighbors Cool Friends. Ameren Illinois representatives will share tips to save money through energy efficiency and how seniors can receive home efficiency upgrades through the Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Program. The event is being held in conjunction with National Senior Citizens Day, which is Aug. 21.
