On Balloons Over 66 Weekend, an array of brightly colored hot air balloon-shaped wind catchers were undoubtedly a theme-appropriate offering from one of the vendors at the Oasis Craft Fair in Lincoln on Saturday.

"My Wind Stuff" offered a massive display of colorful wind items at the craft fair. The large RV and trailer were parked in front of the senior center and drew the attention of many passing motorists.

Over the weekend, many visitors to the downtown Lincoln area may have noticed this First Student school bus parked along Broadway. The bus was a part of the Art Fair held during the Balloons Over 66 Weekend in Lincoln. First Student brought in the bus and allowed area children to express themselves in the arts utilizing a backdrop that would be familiar to almost all of them.

Children dipped their hands in the tempera paint color of their choice and then placed their hand prints anywhere they chose on the outside of the bus.

The activity was a fun way to interest children in the arts and also provided an interactive event they could relate to on the special weekend in Lincoln.
