[December 03, 2022]

Beginning on Monday, December 5th, a portion of Fifth Street Road near Middletown will be closed to public travel. Repairs will be made to pipelines that cross under the roadway between 100th Avenue and 225th Avenue.

Traffic will not be allowed through this area during construction.

The project is expected to last for two weeks, depending on weather conditions.

Local residents will have access to their homes at all times. All other traffic will need to use alternative routes during this time.

This work is being done in preparation for the six-mile roadway construction project on Fifth Street Road. That work is planned for 2023.

Public cooperation is always appreciated as we take steps to improve this roadway.
