School December Senior of the Month

Lillian Hild, daughter of Kevin and Brooke Hild of
Mount Pulaski, has been named December-Senior-of-the-month at Mount
Pulaski High School. She was selected for this honor based on the
criteria of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
Lillian has served as FCCLA Chapter officer for two years, FCCLA
Section Officer for one year, and was an Illinois FCCLA State
Officer for the 2021-2022 school year. For three years she
participated in Cheerleading and Soccer, serving as a captain for
one year. She also participated in NHS and Yearbook for two years,
and Pep Band for one year. Lillian is also a member of the Mount
Pulaski Christian Church Youth Group.
Lillian has been named Culinary Arts Student of the Year. She has
also earned Gold two years in a row for FCCLA Creed event and went
to Nationals for FCCLA for Career Investigation. She has also been
on Honor Roll every year.
Outside of school Lillian has been involved in numerous community
service projects. She has helped with Fall Festival, organized a
book drive for Ronald McDonald House through FCCLA, helped with
Christmas on Vinegar Hill, helped with VBS and “Parents Night Out”
through the church, has donated blood and helped out with the blood
drive.

She has also worked basketball
and volleyball tournaments, helped with the canned food drive,
and made Christmas and Valentine’s Day cards for the nursing
home. Lillian also currently works as a Certified Nursing
Assistant at Vonderlieth Living Center.
The Senior-of-the-Month program is sponsored by Conaway Handyman
Service and Downing, Przykopanski, Clements, & May Insurance
Agency, Inc.. They are also in the running for the $500
Senior-of-the-Year award sponsored by INB.
