Each year, the Eaton Corporation gives each employee a gift to celebrate the Holiday Season. Last year’s gift was a Carhartt sweatshirt. To prepare for the 2023 holiday season, staff were cleaning out a storage closet and discovered several extra sweatshirts. They decided to offer them for sale to their employees with proceeds going to CAPCIL’s Holiday Hearts for Kids Campaign.

The donation was accepted by CAPCILs Agency Development Director, Breann Titus at the Eaton Plant in Lincoln. The donation came in the form of $2,460 in cash and will provide gifts for 48 children. Plant Manager, Dave Clarkson said, “We are so thankful for what you do in the community and are excited to be able to make this donation.”

Donations are being accepted for Holiday Hearts for Kids until December 4, 2022. Different donation levels are available and can be in the form of cash, check or card. Donations can either be delivered or mailed to CAPCIL HHK at 1800 5th Street Lincoln or made online at capcil.info.

Eaton is also a member of CAPCIL’s CSBG (Community Services Block Grant) Small Business Coalition as an affiliate member. Affiliate members help support our small business community, have access to networking opportunities and resources through the coalition program. Eligible employees of the Affiliate members also have access to CAPCIL’s CSBG Scholarships.
