Breaking News-Lincoln’s Jermaine Hamlin was a
part of college basketball history last night (Wednesday,
December 21st).
His Eastern Illinois Panthers upset the Iowa
Hawkeyes 92-83. But that’s not the half of it.
EIU was a 31.5 point underdog going into the contest. In the
last 30 years games like this showed the favorites held a 558-0
record against the underdogs, but after last night it's now 1-558!
Hamlin did his part by scoring 9 points and was
one of 3 Panthers who hauled down a game-high 7 rebounds!
What a night!
