The Mount Pulaski FFA began its school year by participating in several agriculture-related competitions.

Among those were horse judging, land use judging, agricultural sales contests, agronomy contests, and dairy food contests.

Mount Pulaski placed first overall in the Agronomy and Land Use section contests and did very well in the other competitions.

Many FFA officers and a few other members had the chance to go to Indianapolis for the 95th National FFA Convention in October, which was a really exciting and wonderful event.

Additionally, with a lot of kind assistance, the club completed the FFA plot on November 10, 2022. With the help of fellow FFA members, the field plot team finished harvesting the plot and calculating the yield. Overall, it was a fantastic learning opportunity, and the team appreciates all the support it was given! The FFA pays for several of its leadership development trips and contests using the money earned from the plot.

There will be many more competitions, meetings, selling pork chops for basketball games, and other entertaining events during the remainder of the year for the Mt. Pulaski FFA, which they are all very excited!
