The Railers led 10-7 after the first quarter.
Aidan Gowin and Camden Nelson each sank threes and Jake Bivin
and Ki’on Carson also scored, guiding the Railers out to the
lead.
The Lancers held the Lincoln offense to just one basket in the
second quarter, a three by Payton Cook, and they took over the
lead at the half. Lincoln trailed 18-13 heading into the locker
room.
Lincoln had a respectable third quarter but still trailed 28-24
at the end.
Bivin and Drew Hayes each scored a basket in the fourth quarter
to account for Lincoln’s four points, while the Lancers poured
in 14 points and defeated the Railers by a final score of 42-28.
Lincoln falls to 11-2 on the season.
Belleville East improved to 12-0 on the season.
