Lincoln Daily News brings our readers the last installment of reader submission photos from Winter Storm 2022.

This album is a bit of a hodge-podge mixing pets and grown-ups doing odd things.

We’ll begin with what may be our favorite picture of the year.

Anne Marie Gia submitted this picture of her German Shepherd. Our first thought was “Speak softly and carry a big stick!”

Cats and birds leaves a lot to the imagination when we think of how we would caption this. The bird on the branch – “I Tawt I Taw a Puddy Tat!” The cat – “If I could just figure out that window crank!” Thanks to Deanna Hays for sharing!

Thanks to Rebecca March for sending us this blue-eyed beauty!

While we feel bad for Kathy Evans, we applaud her ingenuity. When the snow plow took out her mailbox, it seemed that the best solution was duct tape!

After a day of plowing and scooping snow, Adam Charron thought the best thing to do was don the short pants, socks and sandals and grill supper outside in the snow!

And, on Friday, Lisa Vaughan Leonard thought the best thing to do on a snow day was fire up the hot tub and take a soak. To prove she was actually outside in the water she gave us a “salute” with her mug of warm brew.
