While there are dozens of cute photos to share with our readers, thanks to our readers, there is also a collection of photos that depict the work that goes into dealing with such a big storm.

Here a some such shots.

We start with this shot submitted by Judy Rader. While the task of plowing out grandma may have been work, the boys were also having a good time. Judy wrote, “Stuckey grandsons came over to dig us out. They looked like snowmen by the time they were done!”

Kim Richards shared this photo. While many of us did stay home during the storm, some had more important things to do, like deliver Meals on Wheels to those who depend on the daily food delivery.

Kelli Frost Allison shared this photo. Looks like someone is learning how to run the snowblower, possibly with dad keeping a close eye on the work.

Adam Charron spent time out with the snowblower in his driveway. Afterward the was a little snow covered himself!

Also heading out to run the snowblower, Diana Baker grabbed this shot of Rick as he was heading out!

Tim Kennett took a short break from shoveling and snowblowing to post for a picture

Action Jackson was also out and about on Thursday, snowplowing a number of driveways in Lincoln before the day was done. He was out again on Friday, doing more of the same.

Dawn Kutz Crawford sent us this photo. She tagged the picture simply “neighbors helping neighbors.” It’s good to see people getting out and looking out for each other.

Renee Martin from Mount Pulaski way, sent us this selfie. She wrote, “That’s me attempting to free my car from the garage. It’s hard to tell, but there is a huge drift that I moved to only have it come back a few hours later!! Lol.”

And finally, we say, if you have to clean out your driveway, do it in style! Why be cold and wet with snow when you have a pick-up truck with a blade! Thanks to Bobbie Baily Taylor for this great shot!
