Lady Toppers crush Maroa-Forsyth 56-21

[February 10, 2022] Mount Pulaski hosted Maroa-Forsyth on Monday night and picked up another dominant win, 56-21 the final score.

 

The Lady Toppers were off to a 16-9 first quarter lead as Alexis Wade and Hailee Daigh each knocked down threes and Riley May added five points. 

 

The lead grew to 28-14 at the half as Clarissa Turner and Je’Na Rentmeister joined the party from beyond the three-point range. Grace Davis would also join the scoring column. Rentmeister would lead the scoring in the quarter with five points.

 

Wade poured in another seven points in the third quarter and with Daigh adding six more points to her night, the Lady Toppers ran the lead out to 44-18.

 

Ella Bobell tossed in her own three in the fourth quarter and Clarissa Turner added another three as well to guide the Lady Toppers to the 56-21 victory. 

 

Alexis Wade led all scorers with 16 points. Hailee Daigh added 12 points for Mount Pulaski. 

 

Mount Pulaski improved to 24-5 on the season. 

 

The Lady Toppers won the JV game by a final score of 42-32. Mackenzi Chandler led Mount Pulaski with 14 points. Kamrie Charron tossed in 10 points.
