Artist Sean Sturge Hosts Lecture
for Lincoln College Students
Performer Will Share Experiences and
Advice on Music Business

Sound Engineer, Sean Sturge of 8th Day Sound, will speak with
Lincoln College students about the music business and working in the
audio industry. In addition to his expertise in sound engineering,
Sturge handles global sales at Clair Global, a technology company
specializing in live production services and integrating permanent
solutions.
Sturge will connect with Lincoln College students remotely on
Thursday, February 10, beginning at 3 p.m. Sturge has been working
in the audio industry for nearly thirty years. He will share with
students his experiences supporting clients and shows around the
world.
Starting his career in Trinidad as a Sound System Engineer. Sturge
later became a Monitor Engineer, supporting bands and artists such
as Drake, Nicki Minaj, Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Madonna, Lady Gaga,
EMINEM, Dr. Dre, and others.
Two Lincoln College music students, Katie Benson and Dajaun (DJay)
Stewart participated in the Rock Lititz Live Event Career
Exploration Conference in Lititz, PA November 10-12, where they
first connected with Sturge.

During the conference, “The Life Cycle of a Tour,” Sturge served as a keynote
speaker.
Sturge’s 8th Day Sound is currently number one in the world of live sound.
“This is another opportunity for our students to learn from working artists,”
said Dr. Denise La Grassa, Lead Faculty of Music. “As a top music industry
professional, Sturge will provide valuable knowledge and experience to Lincoln
College students.”
