[February 18, 2022]
In anticipation of the forecast of up to 11 inches or more of snow
over the next 12 hours, the snow route parking bans will be in
effect beginning at 5:00 PM Thursday, February 17, 2022. The
parking ban will be in place until plows have cleared the streets.
The Lincoln Street Department would like to remind residents who
live along marked Snow Routes that parking on the street is
prohibited after 2" of snow and until the street has been plowed.
Residents should seek alternative parking. Also, be reminded of the
2:00AM to 5:00AM no parking areas in the downtown area.
It is also encouraged that residents throughout the city refrain
from parking on the streets and find alternative parking if at
all possible. This will greatly enhance the ability of crews to plow
the streets sooner and more complete.

As soon as the crews finish plowing operations, they will begin treating streets
with salt.
If you have to travel, please do so with extreme caution and give snow removal
crews space while traveling.
If there are any questions or concerns contact Street Superintendent Walt
Landers at 217-732-4655.
