Month at Mount Pulaski High School

Riley May, daughter of Robb and Michelle May of Mt. Pulaski, has
been named February Senior of the month at Mount Pulaski High
School. She was selected for this honor based on the criteria of
scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
During her time at MPHS, Riley has been involved in numerous sports
and clubs. She has played basketball for 4 years, serving as team
captain for 2 years. For 2 years she participated in Volleyball,
Student Council, served as a class officer, NHS, Science Olympiad,
Academic Challenge, and Prom Committee. She also participated in FFA
for 1 year
Riley has been awarded Algebra 2 student of the year. She also has
earned all A’s, and she got 2nd in Chemistry and Physics in Academic
Challenge.
Outside of school Riley has been a member of Youth Group for 5
years. She has also made cards for Vonderleith, helped at the
Elkhart Festival and Christmas on Vinegar Hill, she has done the
drive-in dinners for the Draw Down Dance, trick or treated for
canned goods, and worked trams at the state fair. She also works at
Debby’s Daycare.

Riley plans to attend college and major in criminal justice/criminology to
become a criminal forensic investigator.
The Senior-of-the-Month program is sponsored by Conaway Handyman Service and
Downing, Przykopanski, Clements, & May Insurance Agency, Inc.. They are also in
the running for the $500 Senior-of-the-Year award sponsored by INB.
