Obituary
Robert E. Rogers, 86, of Lincoln,
passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022 at his
home.
Robert was born on August 20, 1935 in Beason, the
son of Abshure “Huey” & Frances L. (Wilson) Rogers.
He married Doris Irene Freeman on September 19, 1972
in Lincoln, she preceded him in death on January 8,
2020.
Robert is survived by his children, Melode (Owen)
McDonald and Troy (Mary) Rogers; three
grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and his
sisters, Shirley (Darrell) Brown and Kay Boyd.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife;
and his siblings, Baxter, Mary, Paul, Helen, George,
and William. |
A memorial gathering to celebrate
Robert’s life will be held from 2:30-4:00pm on
Saturday, February 26, 2022 at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Memorial donations may be made in Robert’s name to
The Humane Society of Logan County.
