[January 03, 2022]  LINCOLN - Ronald W. Hubbard, 87, of Lincoln, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Visitation: 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Lincoln.

Service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the church

Funeral home: Peasley Funeral Home, Lincoln     

Obituary

Ronald W. Hubbard, 87, of Lincoln, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Lincoln. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Rev. Steve Blaum officiating.

Burial will be in the Hartsburg Union Cemetery in rural Hartsburg following the memorial service.

Ronald Wayne Hubbard was born on August 15, 1934, in Atlanta, the son of Donald Lynn and Florence Annetta Rosevink Hubbard. He was united in marriage to Eileen Joyce Aper on February 21, 1954. She survives.

Also surviving are his children: Cathy (Bart) Morris, Ronda (Jack) Tyrrell, and Kevin (Kim) Hubbard; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister: Mary Ann (Don) Parker.

Funeral Director

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son: David Hubbard, one grandchild, and one daughter-in-law: Vicky Kay Anderson Hubbard.

Ron graduated from Lincoln Community High School in 1952. In his younger years he was employed at Fuller Seed Company and was a farmer, he retired in 2013 from Harold Goodman Trucking where he loved making deliveries in the big Red Dump Truck. He was a lifetime member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and in his spare time he enjoyed woodworking.

Memorials may be made to the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Lincoln.
