[January 07, 2022]  LINCOLN - Judith K. Spencer, 80, of Lincoln passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at her home.

Visitation: Friday, January 14, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Peasley Funeral Home

Service: 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home

Obituary

Judith K. Spencer, 80, of Lincoln passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at her home.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Peasley Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Thompson officiating.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in New Union Cemetery.

Judy was born on July 10,1941 in Lincoln the daughter of Robert Herbert and Agnes Gleason Cummings. She was united in marriage to Edward R. Spencer on July 12, 1958. He preceded her in death on April 2, 2008. They will be buried together at New Union Cemetery in Lincoln.

She is survived by her daughter: Linda (Kevin ) Ray, of Lincoln, one brother: Joseph E. Cummings of Chrisman, IL.
 

Funeral Director

Seven grandchildren : Stephanie Spencer, Adam (Katie) Charron, Shane (Katherine) Spencer, Sarah (Greg) Shafer, Zach Spencer, Mike (Rendi) Ray, Liberty (Tim) Canady. Very Special nephew Robbie (Marisa) Cummings. Eleven very special great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son: Thomas N Spencer.

Judy was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She was last employed as the Lincoln Junior High as a cook before retiring .

She also worked at the Onion Ring Factory in Piedmont, Missouri, before returning to Lincoln, in 2012.

Her hobbies were gardening, mowing grass, and making homemade apple butter for her grandchildren and listening to Elvis Presley music.

Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church of Lincoln or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
