Anett Oesterlein is Lincoln Memorial Hospital June Colleague of the Month

Anett Oesterlein, a medical lab technician at Lincoln Memorial Hospital, is the nonprofit hospital’s Colleague of the Month for June.

“Patient safety is 100 percent, hands-down, the top priority for Anett in her work,” said Karla Russell, who works in the Emergency Department at Lincoln Memorial Hospital and nominated Oesterlein for recognition. “Anett strictly follows policies for lab draws, identifying her patient before she does any ‘sticking’ and labeling her labs in front of the patient.”

Oesterlein, of Pekin, has worked at Lincoln Memorial Hospital since 2015.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading, watching documentaries, being outside with her husband and two basset hounds and spending lots of time on the telephone visiting with her family in Germany.
