It’s time to ring in summer and Kids Club Childcare is inviting the community to join. Thursday, June 2nd from 11:00am - 1:00pm the Kona Shaved Ice Truck will be parked at 302 Broadway Street, Lincoln and open to the public.

As the community comes out to relive a childhood memory and brings their own kids out for a treat, they will also be supporting the kids of Lincoln and Logan County. Twenty of the proceeds from the treats will be donated to Kids Club of Lincoln.

Kids Club provides childcare for children in the community from Age 3 through 6th Grade. A fully licensed DCFS facility, Kids Club hosts a preschool program for children ages 3-5, before and after school care, and a full time summer daycare program.

This summer Kids Club will be updating their playground area and purchasing an additional vehicle to transport students to and from school and children to and from summer activities. “We are looking forward to providing our students with increased opportunities for outdoor activity and community involvement. During the height of the Covid-19 pandemic we were incredibly limited in our activities and it is exciting to be able to re-engage our students almost fully this summer,” Kids Club Director, Kim Gibbens shared with us.
