Service: Private family graveside services will be held at a later date.

Obituary

Marianne “Mert” Ingram, 78, passed away on Wednesday, May 25th at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

She was born August 25, 1943 in Lincoln, a daughter of Leo and Mary Jane Walters Ingram.

She retired from Eaton Cutler-Hammer and was a proud momma to her dogs Bella and Bud. Mert was an avid animal lover and a hard worker who was always willing to help anyone in need. Most notably, Mert will be remembered for her adventurous, fun and forthright personality. She was never afraid to tell you how she felt with her “take it or leave it attitude”. She will be loved and missed.

Survivors include her sister Nancy Keal of New Braunfels, Tx, and brother Tracy Ingram of Kenney. Her brother Charles “Bud” Ingram preceded her in death. Other survivors include multiple nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Director

Private family graveside services will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made in Mert’s name to the Humane Society of Logan County or Ruby's Rescue and Retreat in McLean , Illinois .

Services have been entrusted to Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln, IL.
