Mount Pulaski Community Band to host first concert of the season this Wednesday evening

The Mount Pulaski Community Band will kick off its’ summer season Wednesday evening, June 15, 2022, beginning at 7 p.m. on the courthouse lawn in Mount Pulaski.

The theme for the opening concert is “Colors”. Among the selections to be performed are “Salute to The Colors”, “Blue Moon”, “She Wore a Yellow Ribbon”, “El Zorro Rojo”, “Rhapsody in Blue” and many more.

The band is under the direction of Harry W. Hild.

The former Women in Business ladies will also be hosting an ice cream social during the concert.

Come up for an evening of music and good food in the shade on the square! Blankets and lawnchairs are recommended.
