Lincoln hosted its second Third Friday Downtown event of the summer on Friday evening with another huge turnout of visitors to the Logan County Courthouse Square.

The theme for June was Nashville Nights and included a variety of five different styles bands playing at different times in different locations around the heart of the city.

With such a theme, there were a number of cowboy hats being worn throughout the event by vendors and visitors as well.

 

Another big feature this month for the kids were the bounce houses along with several other games set up.

 

And, there were plenty of opportunities to enjoy food and drink from local eateries.

 

While it was quite warm on Friday evening, several folks commented that it was better in the shade and many were seeking the shade naturally as the sun set casting shadows over the west side of the square. Some on the other hand created their own shade while enjoying a time out from their walk about downtown Lincoln.
