On Friday evening, several dozen young ladies dressed in their best party or formal wear enjoyed an opportunity to have their dads all to themselves at the Lincoln Christian Church Daddy Daughter Dance.

The event was well attended with dads and daughters from the community and beyond coming out to enjoy the night together.

On Monday, March 14, 2022, a portion of the 200 block of South Kickapoo Street will be closed starting at 7 a.m. while a crane is used to install rooftop units.

The yellow line indicates the portion of the street that will be closed. Motorists should plan to find alternative routes for driving into the downtown area from South Kickapoo.

The street will reopen when the work is completed.

If you have any questions, please call the Lincoln Street Department at 217-732-4655.
