Emden Sons of the American Legion Scholarship Fundraiser Pancake and Sausage Breakfast enjoys a crowd

Warmer weather brought out a nice crowd to Sons of the American Legion Pancake and Sausage Breakfast on Sunday March 13 at the Emden Community House. Last year’s breakfast was cancelled due to the pandemic and the group sold packages to raise funds. With the return to an in-person breakfast, many people enjoyed visiting after eating.

The donation only breakfast raises money for the Sons of the American Legion Scholarships. Each year SAL members choose scholarship winners from a group of applicants and award them to two seniors at the Hartsburg Emden High School graduation.
