Lincoln Daily News
welcomes letters of appreciation, information and
opinion on matters pertaining to the community.
Controversial issues:
As a
community we need to be able to talk openly about
matters that affect the quality of our lives. The
most effective and least offensive manner to get
your point across is to stick to the issue
and refrain from commenting on another person's
opinion. Letters that deviate from focusing on the
issue may be rejected or edited and marked as such.

To the editor:Lincoln
Woman’s Club thanks the community for supporting our project to send
Holiday Cheer to our active troops.
Once again our members, news media and individuals
worked together to produce the socks, donate items to fill the socks
and money for postage to ship them.
Last year all we were able to do was make socks
and cards due to Covid restrictions.

We feel Operation Santa is a very worthwhile project.
Thank you for helping us revitalize it this year.
Happy Holidays to All!
