[November 27, 2022]  Which do you like best?

This year, LDN took to the computers and put out a couple of questions about what we prefer, Christmas Candy or Christmas Cookies.

First, we asked, “Which to you like best Christmas Candy or Christmas Cookies?” Then referring to the answer to question one, “what is your specific favorite?”

I like Christmas Candy. My “Mom" always makes a HUGE platter with a little bit of everything!!

I really like these coconut crispy ball things my grandma used to make. The coconut balls were delicious and remind me of my grandma.

Since I can't get those anymore, I LOVE fudge and peanut brittle. The fudge and peanut brittle remind me of her as well, but they are special because I only eat them at the holidays.

Note: Stirring this memory prompted Kathie to quiz family about the coconut crispy ball and she found the recipe. We’re hoping she will get the chance to enjoy her this memorable favorite once again this year.

Christmas Cookies, love fudge and the favorite cookie is the ones that have a Hershey Kiss in the middle (aka Peanut Butter Blossoms)

Christmas Cookies.

My favorite is the cookie with a Hershey kiss in the middle, I don’t remember what they’re called! Also - warmed up, hehe!

Christmas candy!

Chocolate candies are my favorite

My mom made the best fudge, and having fudge always brings back good memories with her.

Cookies

Michelle likes the Peanut Butter Ritz Chocolate sandwich cookies. “I’m also a sucker for” white chocolate covered pretzels.”

My Grandma made them every year (secretly, just for me). My Aunt Julie still makes me my own container of pretzels every year. I’m a bit spoiled!!
