The pink shirt picture for today is the staff at the Atlanta National Bank in Atlanta. This group knows all about saving for a rainy day and being prepared for what may lie ahead financially. They also have the expertise to tell you what may work for you and what may not.

Did you know that you can also develop a plan for cancer by understanding your genetic risks? To that end, certain people may wish to have genetic testing to see if they have an increased potential for breast cancer. But not everyone needs to have this type of testing done.

Learn more about genetic testing and counseling in today's edition of Lincoln Daily News.

October is Paint the Paper Pink Month
for breast cancer awareness.

Have you scheduled your pink shirt picture yet?

If not, contact Karen Hargis at 217-737-7418

The staff at the Atlanta National Bank is the first group to answer the Pink Challenge for the American Cancer Society this year. The group decided to conduct the fundraiser in September because they wanted the money to go into the pot from the Pink Pumpkin Auction. Each Friday in September, staff was permitted to wear blue jeans to work if they put a donation in the Pink Challenge pot.

At the end of the month, the group had raised $120 for the American Cancer Society and breast cancer awareness. On behalf of the Friends and Family Relay Team, Karen Hargis accepted the check that will go directly to the ACS.
