A ribbon cutting and open house will mark the
re-opening of the Logan County Genealogical & Historical Society
since its closing a year ago due to smoke damage from a fire in an
adjacent building.
The ribbon cutting and open house are scheduled for Saturday, Oct.
22, with refreshments being served from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The ribbon cutting will be held at 1:45 p.m.
The LCG&HS building is located across the street from
the Lincoln Depot and Logan County Tourism.
In conjunction with the occasion, all Christmas ornaments and books
will be offered for sale at a 20 percent discount on Saturday.
Following the open house, they will return to regular pricing.
