Lady Railers defeat Bloomington as regular season ends

The Lady Railers traveled to Bloomington Thursday night and finished the regular season with a two-set win over the Purple Raiders. The final scores from the Varsity contest were 25-11 and 25-13.

The Lincoln JV team lost to Bloomington 22-25 and 21-25.

The Lincoln Freshman team also lost to Bloomington. They fell in three sets, 25-17, 21-25 and 7-15.

Kloe Froebe led Lincoln with 10 kills. Peyton Sasse had 8 kills for the Lady Railers. Alyssa Company and Lily Holmes each had 4 kills.

The Lady Railers end their regular season with a 28-6 record.

Lincoln (no. 1 seed) gets a bye in the first round of regionals at the Jacksonville Bowl in Jacksonville.

The Lady Railers will play Tuesday night at 6:00 p.m. versus the winner of the Springfield Southeast/Springfield Lanphier game.
