In today's edition of Lincoln Daily News, the Pink Shirt Pictures include two groups from the same company. On the left is the Lincoln Banking Center and on the right is the New Holland Banking Center. Together the two make up the staff of the First National Bank of Tremont in Logan County.

In this particular scenario, it takes two sides to make the whole.

Now is an excellent time to remind you that in the case of your health, two sides do NOT make you whole. You are a whole person regardless of whether or not you have to have one breast removed due to cancer. Losing a breast does not deplete your inner beauty, and that inner beauty is what truly makes you a whole person.

Thursday morning, Karen Hargis and Nila Smith of Lincoln Daily News had the pleasure of spending time with the 2022-23 Lincolnland CEO class. They spent time with the young people at Central Illinois Ag in Atlanta, talking about writing press releases and utilizing advertising. The students are preparing for their group business, and we'll give you a hint about it. It is an activity that has NEVER been done in Lincoln or Logan County. The activity is hugely popular in larger cities, but it is not for the faint of heart. Keep an eye out for more information soon.

Pictured around the table starting on the left are Lincoln Community High School Junior Riley Freitag, Mount Pulaski High School Junior Emma Petro, Olympia High School Junior Lilianna Houzenga, LLCEO Instructor Lisa Kuhlman, Hartsburg-Emden High School Junior Kyleigh Ott, LCHS Junior Isabella Bree-Elmore, and LCHS Junior Benjamin Crombie.

OHS Senior Maggie McNalis and Hartem Junior Ashlyn Duvall were unable to attend Thursday.
