[October 25, 2022]    The Lincoln Salvation Army is starting the 2022 Red Kettle #LoveBeyond Poverty, Disaster, and Hunger fundraising campaign.

Volunteer Bell Ringers and donors during the campaign allow the Salvation Army to serve the community by doing the most good with the funds raised.

The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services team is trained to help with case management, cash assistance, and emotional and spiritual care when disasters hit, even small fires or storms.

Cold or warm no one should go hungry, so volunteers help keep the food pantry open to the community. Many churches have donated food, personal hygiene supplies, Angel Tree gifts, and school supplies to the center. The center helps connect those in need to the resources available.

The Case Managers work with clients through Pathway of Hope to bring people to a safe and more stable environment than when they first requested assistance. The rent and utility programs offer once-a-year financial assistance.

Call 217-732-7890 to see how you can help, or visit registertoring.com to sign up to Bell Ring.
