For the Monday, October 31st edition of Lincoln Daily News, the Pink pictures are of the many faculty and staff in our public school system in Lincoln. Featured are the District 27 Superintendent and Administrative staff, then moving on to the elementary schools;  Adams, Central, and Northwest and finally, Lincoln Junior High School, and ending with Northwest School.

While October will be over today, and Breast Cancer Awareness month will conclude, there will still be a few more pink shirt pictures published this week on Tuesday and Wednesday and possibly even beyond.

We like this because it reminds us that just because October is coming to an end, the need to promote breast cancer awareness does not. The battle against breast cancer, the warriors fighting today won't stop fighting because tomorrow is November 1st.

Likewise, we should not stop thinking about breast cancer just because the month has ended. Please keep our current warriors in your thoughts and prayers and pay attention to your breast health the 365 days of the year.

This little piggy went to Trick or Treat with the Mayor in Lincoln on Saturday morning and quickly caught the hearts of many.

And this was only one head-turning costume that was seen at the event. From ghosts to monsters to cute, cuddly, and funny, there was a wide gamut of trick or treaters dressed to impress and impress they did.

Lincoln Daily News has over 100 pictures from the Saturday event, plus coverage from the Jamboree event at the Safety Complex and trick or treating at the Senior and Assisted Living facilities held on Friday evening. Please, be sure to check them all out.
