Over the weekend two local groups hosted fundraiser food offerings for visitors to the Balloons Over 66 Weekend.

The Lincoln Masons hosted their annual ‘Biscuit and gravy’ at the temple on North Kickapoo Street. Food was available on a drive-thru basis or dine in. At the end of the day volunteers were excited about the way the morning had gone and pleased that they had been able to offer a good breakfast at a reasonable price while benefiting their organization.

A little farther south on North Kickapoo, the Eagles Lodge was also offering a great meal as a fundraiser for the lodge. The grills were burning brightly as they piled on the pork chops to be cooked and sold to drive thru customers. The grab and go meal was perfect for those who were roaming the city of Lincoln, picking their favorite of the many activities that were a part of the Balloons Over 66 Weekend.
