Lincoln Zone Rally to be hosted at Zion Lutheran Church in Mount Pulaski September 22nd

"Light Up the World with Christ" will be the theme for this year's Lincoln Zone Rally of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML) of the Central Illinois District. The rally will be held on September 22 at Zion Lutheran Church, 203 S. Vine Street, Mt. Pulaski, IL. Opening devotions will begin at 9:30 AM led by Rev. Jonathan Buescher.

The Rally Speaker will be Rev. Rodney Blomquist of Taylorville, the CID LCMS Prison/Jail Coordinator.

Rev. Gaylord Spilker, Pastoral Counselor, will share a Bible study based on the theme.

Zone President Deloris Blessman will conduct the business meeting. Zone Vice-President Sharol Bolton will direct a Christian Life program based on the rally theme.

Lunch will be served, followed by servant projects.

The LWML is an auxiliary of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod which proclaims the saving faith of Jesus Christ. The LWML Central Illinois District is currently funding mission projects in the United States and around the world.
