			items for Operation Santa 
			Community donation day set for October

			The Lincoln Woman’s Club in Lincoln has been donating 
			to the Midwest Region of Operation Santa for ten years. Due to Covid 
			the project was postponed last year.  
			 
			This year, on Wednesday, October 12th, members will have a work day 
			to sew socks, prepare a personal note and accept donations. 
			
			Please bring donations of items to fill stockings to 
			the Woman’s Club building, 230 North McLean Street from 9:30 a.m. to 
			2 p.m. 
			 
			Suggestions for travel size items: 
			 
			HYGIENE 
			Foot powder 
			Toenail and fingernail clippers 
			Toothbrush  
			Toothpaste and dental floss 
			Shampoo and conditioner ( no glass, please) 
			 
			FOOD 
			Hard candy (individually wrapped) 
			Tootsie Rolls 
			Beef jerky (short, individually wrapped)
