Lincoln Woman's Club collecting items for Operation Santa
Community donation day set for October 12th

[September 27, 2022]    The Lincoln Woman’s Club in Lincoln has been donating to the Midwest Region of Operation Santa for ten years. Due to Covid the project was postponed last year.


This year, on Wednesday, October 12th, members will have a work day to sew socks, prepare a personal note and accept donations.

Please bring donations of items to fill stockings to the Woman’s Club building, 230 North McLean Street from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Suggestions for travel size items:

HYGIENE
Foot powder
Toenail and fingernail clippers
Toothbrush
Toothpaste and dental floss
Shampoo and conditioner ( no glass, please)

FOOD
Hard candy (individually wrapped)
Tootsie Rolls
Beef jerky (short, individually wrapped)
Chewing gum(foil punch out)

Small or pocket-size games or puzzle books
Sudoku
Crossword puzzles
Playing cards
Small puzzles
Small games

CANINE TROOPS
Dog treats
Dog toys

Monetary donations for postage in the form of a check to Lincoln Woman’s Club designated for Operation Santa will also be welcomed.
