Weather Spotter class scheduled
for October 17th at Lincoln Woman's Club

The National Weather Service station in Lincoln will
present a Severe Storm Spotter Training on Monday, October 17, 2022,
from 10 a.m. to noon. The class, hosted by the GFWC Lincoln Woman’s
Club will be located at the club’s building located at 230 N McLean
Street, Lincoln. It is free and open to all.
Designed for people new to storm spotting, as well as those that
need refresher training, the class will be comprised of all the
information that spotters need to be effective and stay safe.

The class will be presented by Ed Shimon, Warning Coordination
Meteorologist from the NWS Central Illinois Weather Forecast Office located in
Lincoln.
No reservation is required.
