Cheesburger in Paradise online auction starts next week

Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois’ (CAPCIL) is hosting an online auction that will be open to the public as part of their Cheeseburger in Paradise Fundraiser.

The online auction will open Wednesday April 12th, 2023, at 7am and run through Friday April 21st at 8pm. Items have been donated from various businesses and organizations in Logan, Mason, Dewitt, Menard, Piatt, and Fulton Counties. Participants will have opportunities to bid on several gift cards, weekend getaways, overnight stays, gift baskets, and more. This year’s online auction includes an extra special addition that will have people dreaming of adventure. Follow CAPCIL Facebook page for auction item spotlights before the online event goes live. All proceeds go to support CAPCIL’s mission and includes programs such as Meals on Wheels, Head Start, Food Pantry Cooperative, Senior Transportation and several more poverty fighting initiatives.

The link to access the online auction will be found on the CAPCIL website under the Cheeseburger in Paradise page. The website shows each item with description, links to donor social media and/or websites, item value, shareable links, and opportunity to place individual bid or enter an auto bid. You will be notified by text if you have been out bid.

Once the online auction ends, payment will be requested. All major debit/credit cards are accepted. Once payment has been received, items can be picked up at 1800 5th Street in Lincoln starting Tuesday April 25. If other arrangements need to be made, please contact 217-732-2159.
