Lincoln
Public Library District is excited to announce the return of the
Peep Diorama Contest. Community members of any age are invited to
submit a diorama to the contest, a library card is not needed to
participate.
The Peep Diorama Contest at the library has been a great
family-friendly fun activity and brought dozens of people in over
the years. The dioramas liven up the library with creativity, color,
and humor, something much needed after a cloudy, grey winter. Let’s
make this inaugural Peep Contest since the COVID-hiatus a smash hit!
And remember, it’s after Easter, which means Peeps are on sale!
Please follow these design requirements to participate in the
contest:
1. Must use Peeps marshmallow characters within your design.
[to top of second column] |
2. Must not go over the maximum
size requirement (12 in by x 18 in). There is no height limit.
3. Must be appropriate for public viewing.
Dioramas will be accepted for entry until Saturday, April 15th
at 1 p.m. Voting will take place April 17th-April 22nd, and the
winner will be announced Monday, April 24th.
Lincoln Public Library seeks to engage with our community in fun
and interactive ways, to be known not only as a place to go to
get a book but a place for wholesome family activities. Stay
tuned for more fun activities to come!
