Lincoln Elementary School District #27 Receives Coffee and Playground Donation from COUNTRY Financial®

Lincoln Elementary School District #27 teachers and staff received a thank you gift and donation from COUNTRY Financial Insurance Agent Eliza Ahart. The Brew 66 Mobile Truck visited each of the district schools between March 17 and March 24, and Ahart delivered Mel-O-Cream donuts. The district also received a donation for playground equipment.

This effort is part of COUNTRY’s Operation Helping Heroes program, which provides support for teachers, first responders, active-duty service members and veterans.

“As a parent of two young boys in the district, I know how hard our teachers and staff work to provide a quality education to our children,” said Ahart. “They are often overlooked and sometimes unappreciated for the work they do. I wanted to take the time and opportunity say thank you, and to let them know COUNTRY Financial appreciates them.”

COUNTRY Financial has donated more than $5 million since 2020 to organizations and programs that support teachers, first responders, active-duty service members and veterans, supporting the company’s vision to “enrich lives in the communities we serve.” The Operation Helping Heroes program was created in 2015 to support non-profit events and programs that benefit active-duty service members, veterans, and their families. Later, the program expanded to include first responders and teachers.

Ahart opened a new COUNTRY Financial office in Lincoln at 1503 N Kickapoo Street in Lincoln at the end of March, where she will offer life insurance, health insurance and property/casualty insurance.
