A calf stands calmly

just one of the many scenes from the 4-H night scrambles
at the Logan County Fair on Wednesday. The livestock
scrambles are an important part of our local fair as it
enables area youth to have an opportunity to win a calf
that they will raise and show next year.

Congratulations to
Ella Bobell (far left in dark blue shirt), and her 2023
Grand Champion Barrow at the Logan County Fair. The 4-H
swine show was held Wednesday morning with gilts in the
first half of the event and barrows in the second.
Other great shows that took place on Wednesday included
the 4-H goat show, Open Horse Show, and Culinary
judging, and of course Scrambles night.
