Intersection at South College Street and West Kickapoo in Lincoln to close for construction starting Monday

Beginning Monday, August 14, 2023, the intersection at South College Street and West Kickapoo St will be closed so contractors working on the Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice Center Project can rebuild the intersection. Lincoln Sewer Department Staff will also be completing drainage improvements while the intersection is closed.

This closure is expected to last through Thursday afternoon, the intersection will reopen once the work is completed.
