Reminder to Mt. Pulaski residents regarding fence installation rules in the city

Just a "Friendly Reminder" to the residents of Mt. Pulaski, the following steps need to be followed prior to erecting a fence on your property within the city limits of Mt. Pulaski.
Complete a building permit application and submit to City Hall with the building permit fee. For your convenience a building permit application is attached to this email, or you may pick it up at City Hall or print it off of the City's website via this link: https://cityofmtpulaski.com/

Greg Maus, the City's Building Inspector, will then be in touch with you to verify property lines & setbacks per the City Ordinances

Once Greg has approved the location of your fence, your Building Permit Application will be signed by Greg and you will be issued a Building Permit Card. Then you may proceed with your fence installation.

You must call JULIE to have your area located prior to construction and there are deadlines, etc. that you must follow per JULIE requirements.
